He is also known for innovative visual effects during live performances that include exciting stick-twirling and back-sticking techniques. As a World Renowned Drummer and Grammy Award Winner, Sonny is considered to be one of the greatest drummers to have come along in a while. His proficiency and style have awarded him the opportunity to record on platinum status
albums such as the B52s’ Cosmic Thing and Steely Dan’s Grammy award winning Two Against Nature.

The New Yamaha Audiogram.

Doing recording couldn't be much more easier with the new Yamaha Audiogram. Packaged as complete computer music solutions, the AUDIOGRAM Series, bundle together a hardware interface with audio inputs and outputs, software for recording and producing music, and a USB cable for connection to a computer. Recording music from instruments, microphones, CD players or MP3 players is as easy as installing the included music-production application, CUBASE AI, on your computer and connecting the audio interface using the USB cable provided.

Yamaha HXR2L-Rack is here!!!

Inspired by Yamaha's hex-shaped tom arm, the Hexrack is the latest innovation in drum rack design. All of the steel tubing used in the construction of the rack is hex-shaped. This design adds rigidity without extra weight and helps kill unwanted resonance in the tubes. The hex tubes and clamps have a matte finish to reduce fingerprints and to reduce glare from stage lights. All clamps are precision cast for smooth operation and durability.

The hinged clamps used to attach drums and cymbals to the tubes wrap around a hinged synthetic ball. This allows the clamps to rotate for angle adjustment, while virtually eliminating the clamps from slipping. To reduce the number of clamps needed, the vertical tubes are fitted with a receiver that holds a cymbal boom or tom arm.

There are additional clamps designed to add versatility to the rack. The attachment clamps incorporate angle adjustments that allow you to add tubes and accessories to customize the rack to your individual needs. The parts from the clamps are interchangeable as well, so you can make customized clamps to connect any of the curved tubes, allowing you to create any rack configuration that you can dream up. :) see below!
